Warm Tapas-Style Almonds

Ingredients:

  • olive oil  1 teaspoon
  • almonds  3/4 cup, whole, blanched
  • salt  ½ teaspoon
  • paprika  ¼ teaspoon
  • cayenne  pinch, or to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in medium heavy nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add almonds and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, shaking skillet occasionally, until almonds just begin to brown, about 5-miuntes. Transfer almonds to serving dish. Sprinkle with salt, paprika, and cayenne, toss until coated evenly.
